FOUR SPECIAL TRAINING CENTERS
As per RTE Act 2009 all the out of school Children(OOSC) have to be enrolled in formal schools in the age appropriate class but have to be prepared for their age appropriate class in the STCs. In the STCs they will be brought to the level of age appropriate class between 3 months to 24 months.
Out of school children are never enrolled & dropped out a special Group of children belong to migrated labour, rag picker, beggars, dropped out due to illness, lack of educational awareness, sibling care etc.
As special Training centers are being set up for providing special training to out of school children in terms of section-4 chapter–II of RTE Act 2009
The special training centres are functioning in our school since 2011 under the aegis of sarva siksha abhiyan ut chd.
Presently in our school four special training centres are being setup for providing special training to out of school children in the age group of 6-14 years .The children are providing training and mainstreamed to age appropriate classes.
(Qualification (B.ED) and ST volunteer qualification 10+2) is engaged to give training to these drop out and never enrolled and migrated children. After providing training these children are main streamed in age appropriate classes.
ST volunteer maintains the health and hygiene record,monitoring & tracking of mainstreamed children and a laisoning with parents which children are not regular.
MDM,Books,stationery etc are the incentives given by SSA deptt.Special Training children are given ample of opportunities to participate in all the co-curricular activities in BAL sabhas,national celebrations,festival celebrations etc to show their talent & team enjoy themselves .
Skill development course are organized every year in which children have learnt painting,craft,music,beauticulture etc skills to them for their carrier development .
Excursion trips are also organized every year for educational awareness and explore group activities so far in the year 2011-12 (32 children ) year 2012-13 (95 children ) and in current year (30 children in year in July ) have been mainstreamed after providing special training. Teachers are doing a good job lets hope for the best.
